1851 Navy Colt

Description
Quality model of the famous Cap 'n Ball Colt with working ram rod and trigger
action. Our full size and weight model is an exact copy of the early Colt
revolver used by both armies of the America Civil War. This non-firing replica has the handling characteristics of the original,
with functional lock and loading mechanisms and a 7½" barrel. Also available in Gunmetal,
Brass & Black, Nickel
engraved (with simulated ivory grips) and Gunmetal
engraved models.
History
Introduced in 1850 and made through 1873, the total production of the Colt
Model 1851 revolver was about 255,000 pieces. The cap-and-ball revolver fired
six 36 caliber balls and a loading mechanism was incorporated into the design.
